Digital Immersion, a leading 360° video company in France, is pleased to invite you to a unique tour of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. With our latest achievement, immerse yourself in the heart of NASA‘s astronaut training as if you’re getting ready to go into space!

At the heart of the largest indoor pool in the world and its 23.5 million liters, our new 360° video invites you to discover this precious environment for training astronauts. The latter is here faced with different equipment and exits in space in simulated weightlessness. This structure, which houses an original scale replica of the International Space Station, has been home to astronauts since the 1960s. This virtual reality project offers both underwater views and a view in the control room of the laboratory. Thanks to an innovative post-production technique, the aquatic movements are as clear as those outside the swimming pool.

NASA is the guest of honor at the IBC show, which runs from September 8 to 12, 2016. It is one of the two largest trade shows for professionals in the creation, management, and distribution of multimedia content.

In partnership with Harmonic, Digital Immersion will also be present in Amsterdam to present this UHD project (ultra-high definition) in a world exclusivity and to reveal the extent of its technical capabilities. The 360° video will occasionally be available in virtual reality headsets, allowing everyone to dive into an immersive video. This video will also be available on YouTube and Facebook accounts, with 947,000 and 17 million subscribers respectively.
